seyfried

Eight fairytail fashioned looks are what make up Amanda Seyfried's latest editorial for Interview Magazine's March Issue. Styled by Karl Templer, lensed by Mikael Jannson, the Red Riding Hood star pairs her natural sense of innocence with the likes of Nina Ricci, Falke,Valentino, Dolce, and Alberta Ferretti for one romantic looking photo story. Seems like all she needed was a rocking chair, and a dress-up trunk worth thousands for Interview's pages to ooze a sense of fantasy fashion. Watch here, for behind the scenes footage of the pretty photo story, along with the interview conducted by yours truly (mine truly), Sir J Timberlake.  photocreds:fashiongonerogue

Alice Temperley opted to skip NYFW to mark her label's decade anniversary through a showing at London Fashion Week in the grand surroundings of The British Museum. A venue not likely used for this purpose, Alice Temperley seems to ooze decadence wherever she shows. Intricate stitching, and heavy embellishments on rich, heavy silks and delicate tulles left the crowd (and antsy bloggers like ourselves) simply swoon. Our favorite part? The way she pulls off the use of crystal, fringe, pleating, silk, and ruffles all in one piece that boasts a surprisingly subtle result. *sigh* With a collection like this, and raved reviews throughout London, Alice has got reason to raise her glass to an astounding 10th year. Temperley London, you're anything but temporary. Happy Anniversary! photocreds: style.com, fashionising.com

Topshop Unique takes the runway to a new level of creative direction for A/W 2011. 101 Dalmatians meets....an entire fall collection? Looks like Topshop took their inspiration a tad too literal. While there are plenty of wearable pieces, we're finding ourselves to be quite confused with the whole Magical world of Disney inspiration. Where were we when Cruella De Ville was named a style icon? In our opinion, the remainder of the collection has potential. With a little bit of face paint remover, along with the dismisal of Cruella coats, and Minnie Mouse up-do's, this could go a long way. All kinds of weird. For the full collection click here, and let us know what you think. photocreds: style.com

Day 4 of London Fashion Week, and the Royal city is on a roll. All designers, models, production crews, and lucky little interns have wrapped up a fast-paced, sequin laced 7 days of Manhattan madness to jet set themselves to England's fanciest fashioned town. Doesn't New York's seems like a dream ago? Fashion weeks, you are awfully hard to keep up with. Fascinating, nontheless. And amazing for my laptop's battery life. The streetstyle candids, the catwalk reports, the sponsors, and never ending footage from Somerset House, make London Fashion Week one of our favorite events to live through via internet explorer. All of that AND countless beautiful Britt accents flocking the streets? Not sure we'd be able to contain ourselves. “If you’re looking for one place where fashion’s on a high of celebratory confidence for the future, come to London.” - Sarah Mower from lfw.co.uk. Some lines that have caught our eye thus far include, Jonathan Saunders, Acne, Sado, Matthew Williamson, and Topshop Unique with a Cruella De Ville inspired runway for Fall 2011. Yes..dalmatian prints. But we'll blab about that later. What are your favorite things about London Fashion Week? photocreds: agirlastyle, londonfashionweek.co.uk,  jakandjil, stylebykling

NYFWmarchesa

Noone creates decadent dresses like Georgina Chapman, and Keren Craig, and as a result nothing says party dressing like Marchesa. Wednesday night, the magical Marchesa duo Georgina, and Keren held what was said to be one of NYFW's most glam-posh dinner parties of the season. And we totally believe it. Sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and Range Rover, held at New York's 'Lamb's Club' at the Chatwal.. how could it be anything but fabulous? With sponsors like that, and Big Bad Blake romping around with fellow famed femmes in the fashion house's tangerine tasseled frock? We're sure it looked something similar to her shooting a scene with fellow on-screen chums, Humphrey, Bass, and Waldorf. Real life Gossip Girl? We'll take it. Way to throw a party Upper East Siders.. photocreds: landrover, wetpaint
