We realize we haven't been the most helpful to those trying to check off their Christmas lists, but atleast we're creating awareness on some of the biggest steals of the year. After all, are two girls stuck in Canada during black friday not entitled to a little bit of sale season sympathy? When I came across Aje's Spring/Summer 2010 collection back in May, I nearly drowned myself in a puddle of drool. From the collection itself, to the street chic styling and raw photography, the Australian brand soon became a familiar face to my internet browser. Aje is the result of a creative collaboration between Eddi, Aje, and their sister Bree's undying passion for a fashion lifestyle brand that serves as both wearable, and innovative. A dash of sequins, loads of leather, and some bad-ass biker boots coin these grunge-chic looks that are oh-so-effortless. Moral of the story? The full collection is currently flaunting 50% off price tags with low international shipping rates at www.a-j-e.com/au. Dare you to decline.

Mallory

When I came across this article earlier I thought that Loeffler Randall had called it quits in the world of designer women shoes, and moved on to bigger and better..action figures? From designer shoes, to transformers. I don't mean to bombard you with Loeffler, but these Mallory boots are too good to go unnoticed. I was sold on them as a tall boot, but the fact that they unzip down to an ankle bootie is blowing my mind! Pinch yourself if necessary, but yes.....these 'transformers' offer TWO designer boots in one. Decadently dipped in metal for the perfect dose of edgy glamour. An impressive A+ for Mallory, because killing two birds with one stone just became this seasons most practical trend. You're killing us Randall! (Retails for $895 US, with a drop to $627 thanks to black friday.) photocreds: loefflerrandall.com, fashionising.com

Black friday......gets me every time!

Soooo I have been trying to be good since I know Christmas is right around the corner. You know, buy for others not for myself etc etc. Darn you black friday, everytime I open my inbox there is another enticing tidbit of info on the latest sale. My weakness, Loeffler Randall, got to me yesterday. They are having a 40-50% off sale, select items, but of course those select items were calling my name. Can you blame me?

blogger crush

Another day, another blog to crush on. Introducing my personal favorite, Swede stylist, editor-at-large, and fashion blogger Elin Kling. Maybe because I have a serious sweet tooth for Scandinavian street style, or maybe just because Kling's fashion sense could serve as a lethal weapon in wardrobry. Regardless, this girl knows how to make me tick. Kling shares her current fashion obsessions through sartorial styled photos on her blog titled Style by Kling. Although less than half of it is legible, it almost has me wanting to learn the language. Kling recently announced the launch of her very own fashion magazine with renowned media group, Bonnier Publications. She's cute, she's chic, she's edgy, she's Swede....she's Kling. So worth a spot in your bookmark tab. http://stylebykling.tv4.se/ photocreds: style by kling

Ford Womenswear

Nothing like a tall handsome drink of water decked out in Tom Ford, right? Well now us ladies can dream of being Ford muses too, with the lines first go at Womenswear . A tasteful preview for the debut collection was held in a manner that only Mr.Ford could pull off, exclusivity to a tee. Banning photographers, press, and just about all media coverage, filling the catwalk with hollywood's a-list, and highest earning supermodels. With the collections launch just one month away, Ford offered the sneakiest of peaks through this 4 photo spread in Vogue's December Issue. Could this be the perfect opportunity for the designer to pick up from where he left off, six years ago at YSL? With a resume like his, we're not doubting it will be anything but fabulous. Stay classy Tom.  See 'Ford Returns' for full article http://www.vogue.com/magazine/article/tom-ford-returns/

Farrah Flu

Another MAD Farrah bag spotted, and it looks like the flu is spreading. The Farrah flu that is. Side affects include mouth watering color, soft buttery leather, infinite versatility, and an all around day-to-night fix your wardrobe's been craving. The size of Farrah may be her best feature, next to the endless options she provides. One detachable chain strap, one detachable leather shoulder strap, and one unique option to rock her as an over sized clutch. If there's one flu you catch this winter, we hope it's the Farrah.

JCREW S/11

We'd like to applaud Jenna Lyons and the creative team behind J Crew for achieving the perfect balance of neutrals, color, and oh-my-maxi-skirts! A preview of their Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection has us craving spring fashion at a whole new level. The line is strongly influenced by Lyon's personal style, one who has mastered the art of mixing day and night in an outfit resulting in some serious dressing skills. J Crew remains a pro at strong basic looks but manages to excite us with tasteful color punches and subtle embellishments. After all, we know how unfortunate a sequin over dose can be.
