Day 4 of London Fashion Week, and the Royal city is on a roll. All designers, models, production crews, and lucky little interns have wrapped up a fast-paced, sequin laced 7 days of Manhattan madness to jet set themselves to England's fanciest fashioned town. Doesn't New York's seems like a dream ago? Fashion weeks, you are awfully hard to keep up with. Fascinating, nontheless. And amazing for my laptop's battery life. The streetstyle candids, the catwalk reports, the sponsors, and never ending footage from Somerset House, make London Fashion Week one of our favorite events to live through via internet explorer. All of that AND countless beautiful Britt accents flocking the streets? Some lines that have caught our eye thus far include, Jonathan Saunders, Acne, Sado, Matthew Williamson, and Topshop Unique with a Cruella De Ville inspired runway for Fall 2011. Noone creates decadent dresses like Georgina Chapman, and Keren Craig, and as a result nothing says party dressing like Marchesa. Wednesday night, the magical Marchesa duo Georgina, and Keren held what was said to be one of NYFW's most glam-posh dinner parties of the season. And we totally believe it. Sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and Range Rover, held at New York's 'Lamb's Club' at the Chatwal.. how could it be anything but fabulous? With sponsors like that, and Big Bad Blake romping around with fellow famed femmes in the fashion house's tangerine tasseled frock? We're sure it looked something similar to her shooting a scene with fellow on-screen chums, Humphrey, Bass, and Waldorf. Real life Gossip Girl? We'll take it. WWJD. What Would Johan Do? Or better yet, what won't Johan do? And what is Johan about to do? Johan Lindeberg, the man behind way too many successes in the industry will continue to build his resume with the launch of BLK DNM this Spring. Beginning as CEO of self named denim brand,  J.Lindeberg has grown to become one of the biggest names out of Scandinavia, and the list doesn't stop there. CEO at Diesel, Founder at Paris86, and Creative Director at William Rast are a few of the wild stints he calls career experience. With the Spring launch of BLK DNM (pronounced black denim) Lindeberg looks to create a retail concept for the line that is a little different than we're used to. He explains that he'd like to cut out the retail part altogether, making the line available to customers online or in the brand's own free standing shops (also offering the threads at wholesale prices..like!). Eight looks for women, and Eight looks for men will make up BLK DNM's big debut that he also chose to name as "Seasonless". An term that assists Lindeberg's idea that the collection should be available to consumers immediately, rather than six months after their first viewing. No need for seasons in Johan's books. Multiple pieces of dainty decadence stormed down NYFW's runway during Jason Wu's Fall 2011 Preview. The Manhattan based, Tawainese-American designer never fails to impress. Are you surprised? Every collection has a little more silk and sparkle than the last, duh. Wu's success as a young designer is something to note on top of his endless red carpet worthy resume. His client list continues to boast 5 star names like Michelle Obama, Ivanka Trump, Coco Rocha, Reese Witherspoon, and many more. Hard to believe that Jason Wu only decided to take up his design passion during his final year of high school. A touch of Parson's design, an intern stint with Narcisco Rodriguez, buttloads of long strenuous hours in studios and showrooms, and boom he's dressing the first Lady! If only it were that easy. Half way through New York Fashion Week, and our bookmarked websites are flourishing with updates. We've been refreshing our true and trusted source, style.com all weekend and are no longer searching for a lack of fashion feed. The material just keeps coming. Last night, Elise Øverland took the music, models, and trade vip's to an informally 'cool' runway with temperatures to match. Models stood in Øverland's Fall pieces, as figure skaters from the Ice Theater of New York twirled around the 'not so blue-lines' of The Standard Hotel's outdoor rink. Cool. And the pieces? Fabolous. The Norwegian born designer worked with a bubbly palette, opting for colors much lighter than most Fall recipes call for. The pastels were said to have been chosen lightly based on how it would reflect the lighting, to then hit a frozen runway. They really do think of everything, when it comes to NYFW. We're excited to see what kind of tricks some of the other designers may have up their silk, leather, and ruffle cuffed sleeves. Keep the news feeds coming! photocreds: style.com
