rag&bone
Abbey Lee, Sasha, Lily, Edita, and a whole lot of selfy's are what make up Rag & Bone's Spring Summer 2011 Advertising Campaign. The British born label encouraged an original, 'do-it-yourself' advertising approach as they supplied four of the industry's top-model roster, with their own camera and a few pieces from their Spring collection.
After sparking enough of my interest I then went on to learn about Rag & Bone's "DIY Project". A contest in which the brand hopes to encourage their customers to do participate in through acting upon the same creative activity. The contest requires readers to submit their own self portraits wearing their favorite pieces for their chance at Rag & Bone sweepstake goodness. You Britts and your marketing campaigns. So creative. Wang2011
Call me crazy, but there is literally nothing this man has designed that I haven't found myself dying over. Ok, so some of the apparel isn't for everyone, nor very practical. But his shoes, boots, bags, and dresses? Not real life. For an up and coming designer, at his age I find myself more amazed with his success each season. On top of all of that, he then seizes to amaze me by pulling off the coolest tricks in the trade with his unique campaigns, spreads, shows, and collaborations. Photos above take us backstage at NYFW for Wang's Spring/Summer 2011' debut. The colors, the lack of runway, the music, the agyness, the abbey lee, and the rest of his model roster. Stunning. Alexander, how did you get to be so cool? Seriously? For full runway show click here. photocreds: Alexander Wang Facebook Page.
SisleyS/S
Just goes to show what a little bit of Terry Richardson can do for a campaign. Did you ever think you'd look twice at a SISLEY ad? The Italian bred brand has sure played with they're advertising plan for Spring 2011, and we are already witnessing good things. Could be because of a serious Terry Richardson crush, or the silhouette of Holland's blondest bombshell Marloes Horst. We like Sisley's impression of an untried, youthful look. What do you think?

SpottingMadison
Spotted: Leven Rambin running errands in West Hollywood along side MAD's Madison vintage inspired flap bag. The 20-year-old actress plays Rosie on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place that is set to premiere late next week. Nothing like spotting a little bit of MAD in the Hills. see Just Jared for more. photocreds: JustJared
AccessorieCircuit
Of course we attended ENK to represent Melanie Auld Designs, rep the booth, push the orders. But can you blame us for wanting to lap the show a few times? Catch a glimpse of some Pre Fall goodies before they hit the shelves of our favorite retailers come spring? Photos above peak at our Monday afternoon on Pier 94. It's day two of the show, and we thought it would be neat to give our readers a look into a day at ENK's Accessorie Cicruit, and Intermezzo Collections. (Facebook album to follow - so many pictures, so little posting space)
The show kept up a constant hype throughout the 3 days with hundreds of buyers, exhibitors, designers, and loads of fast paced New Yorker's sporting buzzing blackberries from 9 am onwards. And aside from everything that already had us wanting to call Manhattan home, the atmosphere in NY's fashion scene has proved just another reason. This city knows how to own an Industry. The style, the opportunity, the action, the inspiration. There's no place quite like it. Until next time concrete playground..!
